🟠On February 6, 2026, Ghana’s Ambassador to Russia, His Excellency Dr. Koma Steem Jehu-Appiah received the prestigious “Alumni Star” Award at RUDN University’s 66th Anniversary celebration in Moscow. A 1985 graduate of RUDN Medical Institute, the Ambassador’s journey exemplifies the enduring influence of international education.
🟠Due to the Ambassador’s connection with RUDN university, he named his son [Stanis] after RUDN’s second rector, [Vladimir Stanis], symbolising the lasting impact of his alma mater.
In my years in Russia, in RUDN, our rector was Vladimir Stanis. I have four sons, one of them is named after Stanis. So his name is Stanis Jehu-Appiah. The Ambassador tells the forum.
